Customer reviews

In general customer reviews have all been very good. Below are some of the reviews I have gathered.

Once customer commented on how he had owned several other coffee machines and felt this was one of the best and rated it very highly, stating it was very easy to use, easy to clean and the coffee tasted great.

One reviewer mentioned that it can be a bit noisy, however stated that it was not an issue as it made stunning coffee.

One person said it was even as good as star bucks!!.

Another person commented on how quick it was which was great in the morning just before heading out to the office.

A reviewer comented on how the cost of the pods have gone down over the years and are now readily available in most supermarkets.

In general everyone loved the variety of coffees and that is one of the unique features, with Dolce gusto continually updating their range covering a host of coffees and hot chocolates.

Overall if you are wanting a coffee machine that can make a really lovely tasting cup of coffee I would only recommend this. If you want a machine thats versatile, quick and has variety again I would recommend this. It has lasted me well and I can guarantee if you get it you will be sipping new coffee and feeling like your own satisfactory starbucks !

We’ve all seen it before; we drive past the coffee shop in the morning and see that it is filled with people eagerly anticipating a cup of coffee or cappuccino. The last thing any of us want to do is go in there and stand in line, and then have to leave a tip for the privilege. So I decided to look into a coffee machine of my own, as I’m sure many people are considering as well. I came across the Gaggia Classic RI8161 Coffee Machine with Professional Filter Holder – Brushed Chrome Body. And I didn’t need anything too fancy in it; I just wanted simple benefits, as I’m sure everyone else does.

The pros.

I like to make different types of hot drinks in the morning, such as coffee and espresso. The last thing I need is a machine that will not give me the ability to filter out these two things. But I found with the Gaggia Classic RI8161 Coffee Machine with Professional Filter Holder – Brushed Chrome Body that the machine comes with coffee filters for 1 and 2 cups of ground coffee, as well as a special feature for easy serve espresso pods.

I also wanted a machine very similar to what I saw at some of the more trendy coffee shops. I just didn’t want it to be too space consuming, and I’m sure this is a concern many people have about coffee machines. But even though this particular coffee maker is similar to commercial machines, it’s very easy to place in your kitchen and will not consume a lot of space.

This particular machine also comes with a panarello steamer attachment, which rotates in order to give a person easy access to froth milk very quickly. So I and others who are serious about their hot drinks in the morning will be able to enjoy froth milk, and quick access to hot water in order to make tea or any type of hot drink we like.

The cons

It is very difficult to speak of any except for those who have no interest in a machine that comes equipped with so many different options for creating hot drinks. One of the problems with other coffee machines is that they didn’t provide any sort of feature to eliminate one of the common problems in them, such as hotspots, which usually burn coffee and have an impact on the taste. But this particular machine offers just that feature. So even though I was concerned about it first, that concern was quickly alleviated.

You may gather more from user experience then you would having what you may feel to be my biased opinion. So here are a few user testimonials from other people that may make you feel a little bit better.

User one

Order received promptly and it’s working fine. The coffee holder is nice and heavy and feels like a professional bit of equipment. We like mugs of cappuccino in the morning and the height under the coffee spout is small but problem solved by buying shorter stouter mugs. The machine fits nicely under tall wall cupboards. Follow the instructions and it produces nice hot coffee and the frother is the best I’ve had on the 4 machines I’ve had. It’s durability is yet to be tested but a couple of years seems to be the norm for this price range of machines.

User two

After several cheaper machines which gave up after a year I splashed out on a Gaggia Classic and Grinder set as sold by John Lewis. Five years on it’s still going strong and producing great coffee. We use Illy beans which are expensive but once tasted you’re hooked. I love my Gaggia, it’s a bit of a performance making the coffee and is quite noisy, but it makes great coffee and is built like a tank. It looks good too.

User Three

First of all, I am an espresso lover, and a picky one. I can’t stand bad coffee. The Gaggia is my third espresso machine and I am delighted with it. If you do what the manual says, it produces wonderful coffee. I use freshly roasted coffee beans, which I grind in my Gaggia MDF just before use and I get a wonderful crema without the optional crema filter. Just remember, you get what you pay for and this machine, in my opinion, is top ‘prosumer’ model. Remember, you also get what you pay for when it comes to coffee.

How many times have we all gone through the following scenario, you get up in the morning feeling extremely groggy and still half asleep and the only thing you need is a quick cup of coffee to perk you up. But you realize with horror that you will have to go well out of your way to a trendy and expensive coffee shop in order to get your fill. I definitely don’t enjoy this and I’m sure many people don’t. This is why having an in-house coffee maker like the Cuisinart EM200U Espresso Coffee Maker Chrome offers such an excellent option.

The good

First of all I and I’m sure many other people will not be interested in putting an unstylish looking coffeemaker in our homes. Seeing as how so many of us take pride in the appearance of our kitchen we want a coffeemaker that is going to be stylish. Luckily for others and me this particular coffeemaker is very stylish.

I also found that the Cuisinart EM200U Espresso Coffee Maker Chrome was simple to use. Unlike some other coffeemakers it could be programmed just the way I wanted so I was able to create coffee and espresso exactly the way I wanted to. I was also able to create other drinks such as cappuccino and lattes.

I didn’t have to worry about making a mess because it came with a stainless steel nozzle and frothing jug, which was able to make frothing milk preparation extremely easy for me, while in the past this was very frustrating.

The bad

I wasn’t able to read anywhere on the product that it came with a feature which will ensure that coffee would taste good with continued use. As I’ve already mentioned I love to drink coffee and I would be using my coffee maker on a frequent basis. I’m sure some sort of feature to prevent against decreased taste is included; I just wasn’t able to see it.

Stating to you the good and the bad may not be enough to make you truly understand the experience with this machine. So below are a few user testimonials to help you further see what it is like.

User one

If you are like me then you will have looked at 100′s of espresso makers and everytime you get close to buying one a bad review sticks in your mind.
I eventually went with the cuisinart based on looks, build quality and the fact the steam arm is made of metal.
I’ve had it for 2 weeks now and the only minor fault i have found is that the coffee arm feels flimsy and the slider that keeps the filter pots in has popped out and won’t go back in.

Every coffee i have made has been brilliant.

Would recommend to anyone.

User two

This espresso maker is the best thing I have ever purchased. I researched all the brands on the market and finally decided to buy Cuisinart. This machine is well built, it’s all metal, easy to clean and the water storage is just well designed. I am very impressed with Cuisinart quality, I would certainly buy this brand again. Thanks for wonderful cappuccino Cuisinart.:)

User Three

I am very pleased with this machine. Previously I had a Gaggia and, although the coffee was very good with that machine, it took ages to make a cup. This machine is so quick and the coffee is good. I did have some initial problems getting the milk to froth but have now got the knack of doing that. It looks fabulous too. Great buy.

For some of us having our morning fill of coffee is absolutely critical. Seeing as how so many of us are usually not at our best first thing in the morning, having our fill of espresso or cappuccino will definitely prep us up. But having to sidetrack on our morning commute to coffee shops and wait for our fill becomes an inconvenience. So looking into an espresso maker such as the De’Longhi EC330S Pump Espresso Maker, 15 Bar seems to be in excellent choice. I wasn’t convinced that it would be able to give me the same quality of coffee as I’m used to receiving when on the go.

The advantages

I was impressed to see that this particular coffeemaker appeared to be very stylish indeed. It would definitely be something I and I’m pretty sure other people would be more than happy to add to their kitchen, just for its aesthetic appearance alone. It has a stylish brushed stainless steal finish to it, which is definitely a plus.

I was also very pleased to see that this particular espresso maker could be used for multiple purposes; I was able to use it to make both ground coffee and easy serving espresso. This is extremely convenient for me, because with this option I will be able to make both espresso and cappuccino.

I also found that the De’Longhi EC330S Pump Espresso Maker, 15 Bar had an in built manual frothing arm, and was able to mix steam along with air and milk in order to create a very rich and creamy froth. This is something I’m definitely going to enjoy before I leave the house in the morning, as I’m sure others will to.

The disadvantages

This particular espresso maker is very simple to use, for some people it may be a little bit too simple. Some people may require more functionality so they feel like they have more options to customize. But you will be able to customize the way you make your coffee just about any way you want.

Some people may also have a little bit of trouble understanding the De’Longhi EC330S Pump Espresso Maker, 15 Bar right out of the box. It was a bit confusing at first for me, but I was able to get a hold of it really quickly. I was able to educate myself about the features such as the cup warmer, the built in coffee tamper, adjustable steam emission and separate thermostats for the coffee and steam, along with the coffee granules.

In order to get a feel for what using this machine is like it may help you to read what some other people have to say about their experiences using it.

User one

I’m enjoying this machine. Its relatively inexpensive but scores 5* with Which? reviews. Expresso and Cappachino are good. Slowish warm-up but not offputting. Noise/vibrations may entertain me into my 90′s with intelligently arranged weights, dampened kitchen roll and cup positioning. This is entertainment rather than grief. Based upon my purchase this is a good buy.

User two

I purchased this machine to replace my faithful Gaggia which needed a new pump after many years of service. This machine is less than half the price of the Gaggia – but just as good, if not better. Using Illy coffee espresso is fantastic with a rich crema. Build quality very good, the machine is very heavy and has a nice blend of aluminium and plastic. This has got to be the best value espresso machine under £200.

User Three

I am really happy with the choice of this espresso machinge – I investigated other machines and prices from other outlets – the previous feedback was mixed but I think this is an excellent espresso machine and fufills my caffeine needs nicely (really buzzing now!) and I have not had any problems with it as suggested happened to some people (leaks etc). The price is excellent on Amazon so well done Amazon!

Are you one of the many people who can’t live without your daily fill of coffee or cappuccino? Many people need their fill before they get their day started, but how many of us want to continue paying outrageous prices for coffee and cappuccino at hip coffee shops? Many of us want to have this convenience in our own home, and the Bosch TAS4011GB Tassimo Coffee Maker can give us this ability. I was able to take a look at it and see for myself.

Positives

Seeing as how I am such an avid drinker of coffee and cappuccino as I’m sure a lot of you are, I wanted a quick and easy solution. The last thing I wanted to do was go through a complex process in order to get my coffee. When I wake up in the morning I am very groggy and I need my fill, just as I am sure all of you do. I was pleased to see that one of the key features to the Bosch TAS4011GB Tassimo Coffee Maker was that it automatically prepares freshly brewed drinks at the push of a button. That was good news for me to hear, and was definitely a major bonus.

Secondly, I was worried that even though this coffeemaker seemed to be very easy to use, what if it began to make drinks that tasted less than excellent. Upon further inspection I found that it came with an intelligent barcode system that ensure a perfect drink for me every time. This means the quality of my coffee would not go down according to how often I used the machine.

The negatives

These are negatives only to certain people, because they have a routine they like to follow, and maybe waiting for their coffee to heat up would be one of them. But with this coffee maker, it has powerful flow heater technology, which means there will be virtually no heat up time so to speak of.

People who are interested in only having one option may also be a little bit disappointed. The Bosch TAS4011GB Tassimo Coffee Maker is able to make coffee in 12 different varieties such as filter coffee, Café crèma cappuccino, latte macchiato, espresso, hot chocolate and even tea. But I know some people will only want to use it for coffee making purposes.

Take a look at what some other people had to say about using the The Bosch TAS4011GB Tassimo Coffee Maker.

User one

Love this machine, the coffee is really good and very easy to set up and use. A very good point for me is that the design is nice and compact so doesn’t take up too much space on the kitchen worktop.

User Two

This is a fantastic little coffee machine. it is simple and easy to use with a hot coffee, hot chocolate or cappuchino in seconds. the only negative is is that the coffee pods or which ever you buy are slightly expensive, it means that instead of using it everyday it becomes a treat! apart from that my mom loves it and was a perfect birthday present for her.

User Three

This coffee machine does exactly what it says it will do. It makes excellent coffee, quietly and speedily. I mug/cup coffee in under a minute.
The machine is stylish and does not take up much space.
A good buy.
Coffee pods bought separately are not cheap but have tasty coffee and can be obtained at most supermarkets.

User Four

This makes fantastic coffee in just a few seconds. It is the 2nd one I have owned [first one eventually fell apart due to over-use!] I am planning to buy several as Christmas presents. Quick, convenient, delicious, hot, no disgusting coffee grounds down the sink.

Are you someone who is a big fan of ground coffee and cappuccino? If you are then I’m sure you’re considering using the new De’Longhi Bar 14 Café Treviso espresso cappuccino maker. But I’m pretty sure you have already used several espresso cappuccino makers in the past, and you are probably wondering what makes this one so special. Well I’ve had a chance to look it over and see what it has to offer. Hopefully by reading this short review you will be able to determine whether or not the De’Longhi Bar 14 Café Treviso espresso cappuccino maker is for you.

The pros

Firstly I was glad to see that this particular espresso cappuccino maker used traditional means to create cappuccino and ground coffee. It uses a pump machine; this is known to be one of the more conventional ways to make espresso.

Secondly I was glad to see that the De’Longhi Bar 14 Café Treviso espresso cappuccino maker would not require me to be too technologically savvy in order to operate. This espresso cappuccino maker is extremely effective, and what is better is that it only requires three buttons in order to operate.

Thirdly I was able to make coffee and cappuccino very easily, getting coffee that is as good as I would receive in a lot of trendy coffee houses. I would say this one benefit alone is a good reason to add this espresso cappuccino maker to your kitchen.

The cons

Some people may be a little bit confused at using some of the extra features that come along with it. I looked it over and found that I was a little bit confused about the filter storage department, and the built in coffee tamper. I was also somewhat confused by the steam thermostats, but was able to get a hold of it quite quickly.

A removable reservoir holds about 1 liter of water, which I would say is a little bit too much. But I am sure for some they will be satisfied with this seeing as how it will allow them to produce more coffee.

In order for you to get an idea of what this coffee maker is like, lets take a look at what some other people who have used it had to say about it.

User One

Followed the instructions, and felt like I was in cafe. The espresso comes out thick and black (or lighter if you prefer) and the steamer actually makes really good froth. (Remember to use chilled milk). First cappucino I made was good – now just getting better at it and making better and better coffee.
The machine is also REALLY easy to clean. – Negative points – it’s slightly noisy when the pump is going – but that’s only 30 seconds so who cares. Well done Delonghi.

User two

This machine simply does what it supposed to do. Pressure is enough to make foamy and nice aroma espresso. Water tank is a bit small, so needs to be refilled quite frequently, the other thing – cups are sliding off the surface because of vibration, so I have to hold them back and pod holder is tight to insert into machine. But anyway really good ratio price/quality.

User Three

I’ve owned this coffee machine for a few days now.
it does heat up quicker than its states in the instruction manual. which is a good thing.
the only thing worth mentioning, is that when heating up the milk, rather a lot of water enters the cup before the steam. to get around this i allow the water to run into an empty cup until steam appears before heating the milk.
but still gets the thumbs up from me, as its makes a very nice cuppa coffee.

All in all I found that anyone who is serious about making quality coffee and cappuccino should definitely consider the De’Longhi Bar 14 Café Treviso espresso cappuccino maker. Whether or not it is the best espresso cappuccino maker on the market is debatable, but it is a wonderful introduction for those who are serious about quality coffee on a daily basis, but without the expense of having to get it from trendy coffee shops.
